It is not the number of people
who love you and your works,
the number of followers,
that counts.
It is the number of critics,
detractors, foes and
outright enemies you acquire
that stands evidence
that you ever lived,
that makes your life
worthwhile, worth living.
That makes you immortal.

I would like to translate this poem
Very true. A true critic is worth 1000 yessayers who let you simmer endlessly in your own bubble of 'stay the same'. But I found the notion of immortality a little bit too epic 4/5
The poem could have been better taken, without the last line.
