Bravo Hazel on another fine write.... It's easy to temporarily escape from a lie but the truth patiently waits on the ground. You wrote this from your gut.....and you nailed it! Great work!

Wow! Very intense feelings come from beneath the surface of this one! Can identify with taking to the skies to escape, flying gives a sense of exuberance and peace. When landing it does seem happiness and laughter die, because you've come back to the reality of your life. Great poem, Hazel! Thank you for sharing.10+++++ RoseAnn

Superb Poem, I liked it..... Calms him, as he grins happily flying away from the lie, As he lands his plane on his airstrip, His happiness and laughter dies!

Boom, boom sound is echoing with Christmas party. This poem gives a clear picture to understand celebration and life around. Happiness and laughter die with lie. A thought provoking expression too.10
