Fly, gentle soul, from pride's boast.
As from what, in harm's way
Flaring maned, roars for lion.
Paw-raised its trophy on.

Stop; nor turning, to bound off
Wait not one second more.
As far, shrunk unassuming
Back to childs' shy hiding.
