Flowery Walkway
-Gayathri B. Seetharam
We all know flowers have power
They build towers
And shower success
And do the doer of flower arrangements, etc, good;

Flowers are the toast of society
And simply the rage in Toronto
And are said to be the good luck charm
To be the talk in the salons of Toronto;

This brings me to my days at the Dept. of Chem. Eng. in the U of Toronto and my work days in Iogen Corporation (in Ottawa)
Which had symbolic flowers on the pathway
Bearing in mind that roses have thorns also
But only on the stalk;

The love and care showered on the flowers
Bore fruit and they became the treat
For the feats of success
And times of duress.
