It's a great poem with very deep meaning! Great metaphors display the complexion of your feelings, one can certainly draw the inferences the poem hides.Thanks.
It reminds me a bit of Thanatopsis, by William Cullen Bryant. It has similar themes. Great metaphors! Very beautiful.
Alright, it's come to my attention that this poem might be hard to understand in it's symbols and what it's saying. I don't want to change any of the symbols to make it any clearer though, so I will give the tools to clarify it. First, snow is commonly used as a symbol of death, and as it is white, also purity. The theme of the poem comes from the bible, cutting away the parts of our character that make us sin and throwing them in the fire. He mentions that it's the dry season in the beginning, when he says no sight of rain, basically he starts the fire and the fire consumes more than he intended. 'Ash to Ash, Dust to Dust' is a saying meaning, that we rejoin the earth from which we came, used when someone dies. What I'm trying to imply in the poem is that the character is cutting away the branches of the tree and burning them to make a spot for the flowers to grow. There are other concepts in the poem too, which is why it might be such a hard poem to understand, but I really don't know any other way I would've expressed them.
This was beautiful, why you say this too hard to understand? it so pure heart like snow...if you could seed it in soil deep, once spring come it will flowering, maybe not flowering in snow but seed in snow time harvest in next spring to come...whatever you have decided, you have written this beautiful poem, and you deserve for praise even u smile ear to ear and never feel low when hate comes to ear..prove this is beautiful and it''s enough! ..keep smiling ear to ear coz memories is beautiful.._Unwritten Soul
