Flowers In The Snow 2 Poem by Kelly Boutin

Flowers In The Snow 2

We're flowers that bloom in the snow of winter
Flowers that are stronger than we think we are

Flowers that see what's up ahead
But turn our heads and grow instead
Flowers that see what's on the horizon
Flowers that just want to be alive in

A dark, broken, careless world
I see the sad, the sun won't shine
I see that is why we cry
Into a flurry of pure white snow

Flowers that bloom in the middle of winter
Flowers that just want to feel better

Flowers that bloom long after autumn
Flowers that don't want to be forgotten
Flowers that long to feel alive
So in the snow they blossom
