Truth or fiction? perhaps a little of both. Perhaps a sanitized version of reality, sprinkled with some sweet notes of truth. Simply beautiful!

This story may have come from your imagination, but i suspect there's an element of truth here. You have written, here, a tale that has been played out, in real life, many times over. I think you either know this lady, or know of her. This tragic story has, unfortunately, happened all too often in Ireland's chequered history. A sad but important memory, that we should not forget. Extremely well penned, Hazel.

From the claws of her tyranneous father, the little birdie has flown into the boundless sky....... With sundown she comes back to her little nest where she weaves the dreams of a sweet mate flying from far to seek her warmth and give her comfort! With her colourful plummage, she is sure to attract many bird watchers! Let the girl get a man of talent and worth! Excellent
