This poem has great meaning. You write it out well. Very sad and touching, it makes the reader really feel and think. The ending is very deep. Written out very well and with lots of heart. Well done. DC

I love the simple poems where emotions are expressed lucidly and so effectivley. Jose, one may read your poem and think they know exactly where it's going and then the ending hits you like a ton of bricks. Thats what poetry is all about...expecting the unexpected especially when it comes to emotions. Great poem: -)

Wow, what a whiplash ending... I did not see that coming... like an episode of the Twilight Zone... what a cautionary tale... like the song says, 'Shower the people you love with love.' the next second is not guaranteed to anyone.

This is a beautiful creation, no doubt, but the title is not apt. It confused me.
