Flowers 05 - Hibiscus Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

Flowers 05 - Hibiscus

Rating: 5.0

Proud
gay and loud
red hibiscus.

Lack of fragrance
she tries to make up,
like a lady wearing
crimson lipstick.

How adorable! So innocent and sweet but you have certainly captured the essence, of this unpretentious flower making it so very innocent and sweet.

There is a sublime beauty in the delicate pink petals, beautfully captured and the metaphoric element blends with it perfectly

Simply amazing! The analogy of flower and the woman is powerful and original. There's nothing like a crimson lipstick to transform your looks. I am sure all women would agree with you.
