Fragrance
is the music
of flowers;
while a Champa
is vociferous,
cacophonous and loud,
Jasmine sings
like a nightingale.
Thank You, Dillipji. So happy that you enjoyed the poem
I've smelled some horrible fragrances and heard some horrible music.
I'm like a Champa while my wife is like a Jasmine! ! : ) bri
Damn! I THOUGHT I heard a Nightingale ourside my window, BUT they don't live around here. It must have been coming from our collection of shrubs! bri : )
I believe at least two of these three words could be interchangeable: vociferous, cacophonous, loud. If so, you are being redundant, but I'll 'chalk it up' to Poetic License.
VOCIFEROUS (adjective) '1 Making, given to, or marked by noisy and vehement outcry.' I've never met a vociferous plant I didn't like.

Poet's Notes may be handy for some, but I KNOW all things about all things, including 100s or thousands of species names! ! ! Believe me? You shouldn't. : )
Thank You, Bri for delving so deep into the poem, my use of words and the images I used in trying to convey something different. This is essentially what I feel about the odour/fragrance that flowers exude. There are hundreds of flowers that are odourless too.
