Flower Bulb Poem by james watkin

Flower Bulb

As eagar wished up
Same ground from out
Mucky has, and foul
For gem confined
This of whose beauty
Struck of at last
Could not but derange
The colour-blind!

2/

This girl had a prevision.
Glimpsing, ahead in time
All that will, aromatic
Add up to, and sublime

In the personage of Spring.
Re-awakened as twere
From out each garden-deep
And garden-dark chamber.
