Flower At Dawn Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

Flower At Dawn

A flower I saw at dawn blossom
Refused to wither at noon
But sparkle at night in the dark
That I yearn to pluck for keep

The job to pluck I thought a simple one
But it danced in the wind to escape my catch

Grab and pluck I lunged and catch
And what a sweet smelling fragrance
That dazes my head a spin

A smile I gave to my priceless prize
Placed on my chest it melted my core.
