Beautiful poem with good question... Both are parts of nature. Both give happiness, Fruits relishes our taste of tongue and satisfy hunger too Flowers do relishes its fragrance sensed by nose and satisfy our happiness too. Both are equally important.Nice write.

Dont forget, a fruit is never started as fruit since early it was, it came from flowers and then developed to be fruits. Flowers is beauty symbol but i agree why bees' eyes like to stare it more than appreciate the other part like leaf stalk etc..because of beauty, it just human also behave the same..yes we always forget how great leaves are, or strong root is because without this no flower can bloom...but i would see flower as a product of cooperation between leaves, roots, shoots...they be one to produce flower....and some flowers go fruiting and thats mean beautiful is can be more if we contributing to others...if we have beautiful face, give it more by fruiting or having beautiful soul, if we rich we should share sweetness we have....otherwise we just have beauty and its all nothing more to celebrate than eyes and self indulgence only...i conclude my understanding and thought of this beautiful idea (your poem) ...we can appreciate beauty of flower but remember things behind all of this, and comparing fruit and flowers cant be so easy as it perceive more we know that each live differently and serve differently...accept this as richness of life and diversity beauty..._Soul

Aftab bhai, it is a deep poem but quite in range of the reader like me...the manner of carrying the analogy from the vegetable world to a culminating point about some understanding of a phase in life..is just wonderful and effective...! ! !
