We have Ixora of all colours here but unfortunately, there are no poets here who can write a poem on them as beautifully as you. Thanks Geeta.

Geeta, this is a beautiful poem on a beautiful flower. Thetchi in Kerala is widely used in all the temples and has sacred associations. Yes, together they stand in strength and unity! When they smile and bloom, My heart shoos away all gloom........................ This is exactly how I too feel on looking at flowers!

The following lines remind me of an Urdu translation of Kavivar Bihari's couplet: Green ‘Tulasi' that matches the flame of Lord Krishna

The exquisite beauty and the purity of this wild flower 'Thetchi' has rightly been recognised as flowers fit to be offered to the deities in Archana. The poem brings out the feelings and joy that Thetchi is known for. I appreciate and thank you for sharing info about this unique flower and its characteristics.
