You have given us a visual treat! Flowers are such delight! I love flowers and your description of them! The lines beginning with 'D' and ending in rhyming couplet are an example of your skill in crafting lovely verse! Beautiful poem. Top marks, Geeta!

Superb poem on Dahlia flower, we just talk about Rose, Jasmine, Sunflower, Hibiscus and how conveniently we ignore and overlook these flowers that make a bouquet look so elegant. After reading this beautiful poem people will start looking at Dahlias differently. Liked the way you composed this poem,10++++++++

I fully agree with the views expressed by Sandra. It is such a charming portrayal. 'The Delightful Dahlia' really delights the reader with its dash of colours and exuberance. The queries put up to these flowers carry the poem to another level. It may be a bit of disappointment that they do not last longer. But then change is the law of nature. Thanks, Geeta ji.

Flowers are such, joy and beauty, Nature's perfumed, colored gifts for the eyes and for the spirit. What more beauty than a flower well described, seen as you have seen them and then making us participate in such visual, sweet experience coming from your poet's tender heart and translated into poetry and art!

Delightful Dahlia is also my favourite flower that blooms and dwells in my garden. Dancing joyfully with wind like Flavia your princess Dahlia is swinging with tender wind. You have nicely brought up a flower from your garden of visit through evening walk to Deer Park, Delhi and presented a lovely and excellent poem. Thank you very much for sharing this...10
