Flora Poem by james watkin

Flora

A garland, of a summer's day worn
Is a garden. Flora arrived
Through the light, itself to adorn!

Vivid lift the grasses in wake of
Her zephyr-gown. As retinue
Lamb, fawn and cub its tone partake of.

Her heart's a rose. As with anything
Of full-blown magnanimity
Makes the air, about it, exulting.

Their's us with tokens of the goddess
Swapping a vow! Who, of beauty
Is root, stem and leaf love's hour will dress.
