Oh! Floppy was your Knight, sent to help you recover. So happy for you and him both. What's the old saying..when God closes a door; somewhere he opens a window. Guess we know what came inside your window..(smile)

Sandra, to be really frank, ur poems have a particular charm and delicate fragrace. You use some very good phrases like, rivetted to city. Your poems are always in clear diction the reader easily sails to the other shor of the poem enjoying every word of it.

I liked this charming poem very much, Sandra, particularly that sly jab at your former lover at the end of the poem. At least your 'Floppy' is faithful, loyal, and true to you! This was a quite well written and expresed poem, skillfully written and a treat to read for anyone who reads it. Carl.

Truly a very touching poem, Sandra, and rich in emotional undertones. Mascots are nice (mine is a little brown chihuahua named Thomas) . :)
