Flat Frog Haiku Poem by Mary Champion

Flat Frog Haiku

Tonkin bug-eyed frog -
a subtropical species.
Flat out with fatigue

Sad amphibian
lay like a flat green pancake
as the truck rolled on.

An applique patch
on the pocket of my jeans
just a flat, felt frog.

For the whole weekend
Pierre had been on a high -
Monday - a flat Frog.

Kissed by the princess!
Delirious with delight!
A well flattered frog!

'How did you get in?
Miss Piggy said to Kermit,
'It's my flat, Frog! '

In a better mood:
'You're welcome to my flat, Frog.'
Simpered Miss Piggy.

Too many baked beans -
washed down with Coca Cola -
a flatulent Frog.
