Fives Poem by Stefan Splawinski

Fives

a pastime of those bygone days
fast activity schoolboys love
hitting a rubber ball at speed
game played with a padded glove

more appreciated than squash
unusual court at school found
either eton or rugby version
different to a cricket ground
