Reading 5 more minutes is a reminder to appreciate these next five minutes...no regrets! God reflected in a horse's eye? That one puzzles me, but I like it. It made me think about how a horse sees the earth and also, whether their is a reflection of the old man in that eye. Interesting. The ending 'to save a soul' is wistful.
I need time to look under the lily-pads, rub the belly of a snake, see God reflected in a horse's eye. beautiful. really beautiful........ very creative in your imagination and in your writing.... love this poem. thank you dear poet. tony
Five minutes to to have a last cigarette..............i see the stutter came back. i think they can treat it these days. cut a snake open? i did that (accidentally) with a lawnmower once. it wasn't a pretty sight. interesting, not pretty. bri :) oh, i guess i'd better finish reading the poem. that's at least fifty minutes you want! how about if we just come back for ya in a year or so? bri :) p.s. (i glanced at the comments) isn't 'wist' a game?
