Incredible verse, Valsa. Indeed, fear works in a way that makes one feel utterly claustrophobic. Fear is indeed a stalker. This goes to myfavourites.

Fear in mind creates unusual delusion that appears to mind as apparitions. You have so nicely and astuty inscribed this theme with a attractive beginning like..... Stranded in the caverns of darkness I am convulsed with fears... A brilliant poem in concise.

Most of the fears are evil creation of our own minds. Heart may help us to remove the fear.

The piece is a witty reflection on a bunch of sinister shadows without substance - that's fear. An insightful poem, very realistic descriptions. Thanks for sharing Valsa..

Fear finds its way into life when a certain atmosphere is created. The cavern of darkness may be any where. Imagination is a close companion of fear increasing its intensity. All nicely brought out in this five liner.

You have really hit the bull's eye with this one.. The best part of this poem is the short length of it.. It makes the idea very clear.. A beautiful take on fear Valsa ma'am.. Thank you.. : -)

A mere coincidence.Last night I had a terrible dream. When waked up I did not know if I was a human being, or who I was.I discovered I could hardly breathe through the nose and the mouth was closed...Your poem paints the scene I was in.

Brilliant. Fear described in wonderful imagery. Apparitions enter unlocking the door...wow. Very sensory images to make fear palpable. A sure 10.

Enjoyed your comment Bri and the humour of it! Thanks for the correction! Yes, teeth gnaw and nails claw. I shall make the correction now itself! No body can beat you in your observation!
