I have always been an outsider,
pushed out into the cold.
not accepted by the norms,
so change I had been told.
As I got older,
I realized that I can
go on living a life
that no one else has to understand.
I see life differently,
I see the beauty in the strange.
I do not need to be accepted
I will never change.
I am proud to look back
and see how much I have grown.
I'm not here to fit in your world,
I'm here to create my own.
