Fishing Spot Poem by Dorsey Baker

Fishing Spot

The pond
is full of fish
heard one
splash in the water
and it sounded big
a frog voices
its low baritone
somewhere in the distance
a bird perched
high in a tree
begins to singsweet song
harmonizing with summertime
nature beckons my ear
fully dressed trees
echo the breeze
finally found
a good fishing spot
the fish bite
and the ants do too!
