After John The Baptist was arrested
Jesus came to the sea of Galilee
And he began proclaiming the gospel of God:
"This is the time of fulfillment.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent and believe in the gospel"*.
As Jesus walked along the sea of Galilee
He called out to Andrew and Simon brothers
And then, a short distance later
He called out to brothers John and James.
He invited them to become fishers of men.
These men immediately left their boats to follow Jesus.
They became fishers of men.

Oh Jesus! Grant me the grace of repentance and belief
Grant me the courage to respond to your holy call. Amen.
