# Fish Poem by Rehan Hyder

# Fish

Rating: 5.0

I was her fish!

an expression spread over large expanse
on a rocky range; from endearment to derision

Stop fishing you bastard! ! ! !

I think I love you fish!

scales of guilt stuck in way
of every new alibi every
new reason that distributed
marital clock in two hemispheres
acrimoniously spaced time zones

squirming in the puddle of accountability
peopled by utility bills, school fees and
essential hugs
the fish in me yearns for
your deep waters
your salinity san salt
your salacious unmoored caresses
your probing tongue on my earlobes
your consummate love
of seafood! ! ! !

An abstract Pen-Gem, swimming in a poetic sea of darting wit, and cleverity, indeed, my friend! ROCK-ON! ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
