Standing alone with not a soul around
I thought of the beginning of thought.
I thought of the first man on earth
And the first thought he had.
When it happened and at what age
and if his thought was an existential one,
Like: who am I? or, what am I? or, am I?
Or about subsistence,
Like: I‘m hungry. I want to eat.
And whether he was conscious he was thinking.
Then if he was, he must've been created with a conscience.
He must've been adult with full mental capacities.
Not born a baby, not grown to be adolescent.
Or if he was not, he must've been born a baby
And he must‘ve had a mother.
Then his mother must've been adult
Like his father. A couple. An adult couple.
A conscious adult couple.
Living together for company's sake.
Later may be for love's sake.
A conscientious adult couple?
Then they must've known Good and Bad.
How? He must've beaten her; the beast.
And had some kind of remorse. A bad feeling.
He must've kissed her to apologize for his evil deed.
He must've felt some sort of pleasure. A nice feeling.
And what about his first thought?
When did it happen? And where? And what was it about?
Oh, it doesn't matter. Or does it?
Oh, I quit.I really quit.
Forget about it.
