First Poem Of August Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

First Poem Of August

Rating: 5.0

Staring at a glass that is a quarter full
I wonder: Is life worth living if the glass is less than half?
As I am a half century old
And knowing that time is running out
For things to happen
I realize I should get myself going
Before I take my last breath
But I don't know where to start

Life is always worth living no matter how full the glass is. A person in my home area has a 90% blockage of the main artery from his heart, and the doctors say that it is inoperable. Yet he sends out such positive messages each week that he is an inspiration to all who know him!

life is worthy when life is concerned on the self knowledge though the age there is like the quarter full glass!
