I wish we understood each other much like we understood time.

Having you close was the best feeling.
Imagining you go was the worst thing I imagined seeing.

It is not time that I fear.
Deep down I know you do care.

Why do you let me go so easily?
What do you want from me?

I feel like I have not understood you.
Now I feel like I do.

Now I am beginning to let you go.
I wished for you to stop me before I did so.

Seeing how easily you walked away,
Made it difficult to ask you to stay.

I wish you knew how much I really love you.
