After long thoughts, to myself confess
From deep in my being, love shall I assess
With my whole self to him shall I express

I am trying to imagine how you would be dressed if you were wearing LESS than your birthday suit. Hmm? Chary love? ? Does that have anything to do with the teen cherry, with which God blessed you? ? I've always felt bad that I never got one. One of my own OR anyone else's! ! A nice write, of course, though it was a challenge to keep up with you. And now you have found 'true love' and have diapers to change! :) Bri Nice set of rhymes.

I like the way you capture the whole matter of intimacy. A witty poet who will no doubt make history with her works! I vote 10/10!

It's a beauty, a teen aged beauty and I remember my days when I was 21 and she was 16. Now I am 70 and she is 65. Life was beautiful and it is still beautiful, like this beautiful poem................10

A beautiful expression of your first caress from your soul mate with an honesty and at the same time your excitement along with satisfaction was observed here which you cherished with content. Thanks for sharing it - Darlene.

Your 'First Caress' is first class! While I was reading the poem, it caressed me all the way. The note is also beautiful. A nice dream, and yes, a dream can come true, and so often it does! The poem, 'written upon believing' that the poet was 'in love for the first time', is a poetic expression of a flower unfolding itself to a butterfly. The poem is a dream of a sweet sixteen lass, of her teen age muse, whose first caress she contemplates. Beautifully done!

Enjoyed very much this caress of words. It's funny because I wrote a poem in french some years ago which was titled the fire in me before the first caress about the intensity of the moment that precedes the first touch, the first embrace of the lovers' skins... * *
