Wow, this is full of startling, painful imagery that strikes at the core of all our delusions in the land of plenty (indeed in any land where the young go unappreciated and the old are ignored as undesirables and hope has left on the last train leaving only despair in the gutters) . As painful as it is, it is a work of art to read.
