There is a peak experience in this poem, namely - AROUND THE VOICE FROM HEAVEN RANG JUST ONE BIG SINGLE SOUND. This strikes me as the sound that sets cosmic patterns into motion. As such it predates the human presence, or at least human participation. We are still hearing the echoes of this great sound, and it will continue to echo until time stops and the universe implodes.
