Find Yourself Poem by ahammad kabeer

The room is full of darkness
It is full of silence
I can not see anything, I am scared.
I do not know where i am, but
I am running here and there to find something.
I am searching for light, to find what i search for.

I am lost in this darkness, in this silence,
And i forgot where i am.
Something is missing in me and
I do not know what it is.
Now in this darkness and scary silence,
What i left with is pray.

I pray to him, i pray to my almighty
To help me and i trust in him.
I believe in him, and he can help me.
I believe him, he can give me an answer.
I believe in him, and he knew what i need for.
And he knew where i am and what i search for.

As time goes, i could see the darkness is giving way to light.
Now i see where i am, i see what was searching for.
The silence broke, i asked myself
For what i was looking for, finding for.
Yes i answered myself, , I was looking for myself.
What i lost is me

I was trying to be someone, and i was forgetting what i am.
I was answerless because i never knew what i have
I was empty because i do not know what i have.
Yes i realise, i should be the person whom i am, not what someone else.
Do not try to be someone else, try to be the someone in you.
The world will follow you….
