It took over 7 years to obtain justice in a case where the criminals were not high profile. Has things changed big time in this country because of this execution? What if the accused were children of top businessmen, Government servants, MPs, MLAs- or MLAs themselves? Would justice be delivered swiftly or rather would justice be delivered at all? the rape and mutilation of Nirbhaya was so brutal and repulsive that the entire nation felt that if in any case the criminal deserved to be punished with death, then this was the case.
