This poem is very thought provoking and touching. It is inspirational that he includes the Psalm 139. This Psalm has really inspired me and reminds me that God is everywhere and we can call him anytime, be day or night....there is never a busy signal or " the message -leave a message at the sound of them tone." It may be Yes or No or Wait or " I have something better for you" .
Gail, Thanks for the nice comments. Bea and I enjoyed our Maui visit with you. A high point for both of us. Was glad I was able to write two poems while visiting Charles A. Lindbergh's final resting spot. This visit a high point of my life.
Psalm 139: 9 King James Version (KJV) 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; King James Version (KJV) " i wonder what verse 10 says. hmm? THIS: " Psalm 139: 10 King James Version (KJV) .10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me." ok, no wonder Charlie had a successful flight! ! ! ! i think the grave should have verse 10 added. bri :)
I had no idea Lindbergh was buried in Hawaii. Nice poem. I enjoyed it.
An emotional epitaph for the pilot Charles Lindbergh, which I find memorable. He achieved great things on the flight across the Atlantic.
