This is one of the finest, most moving, and honest spiritual pieces I have read. Your presentation is somewhat unique, and takes the reader into a slow, and, I suspect, deliberate, experience of the descent, along with the reasons for such, and the positive ascent of the last lines lift the reader into the joy of the whole piece.
