Very touching poem. A strong image of a mother and her child together yet apart. I am reminded of sitting between the walls of a house while the spirit keeps travelling abroad. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem with us.

Final moments is a heart-touching poem. When I read this poem, I felt the imagery of death. There is a positive note in the poem towards the end of the poem where the poetess says Let us pretend.............

I agree with Dave and Eric, a wonderful poem. If you have some time, read Wendy Thopliss works. She is also from the united kingdom and a very good poet. She is a wonderful person to get to know.
