Filling A Bird-Bath Poem by james watkin

Filling A Bird-Bath

Their wings as to the flame I bring
Their drowsy reserve to the lash
With the tossing of waters, chill
Full of jollity which splash.

Had what is poured for vassals of thirst
No such redemptive meaning
Life's peal, round what's left empty then
Lonelier by scores would sing.
