Yes Mathew, I really enjoyed this and I'm not surprised you invite comment for there are some stanzas here (2,5,6 and 7) touching perfection. I'm not entirely convinced of the end of the last line 'too old to die' I wonder what you mean here. Certainly a brilliant piece and a pleasure to read.
