Fiery Love Poem by Claude Simpson

Fiery Love

When lit you are like fire
When hot you burn;
You seek to share your heart's desire
And reserve to be less stubborn.

You tap into your mind
To show the emotion;
You sharpen the dull life
With interest and action.

You give way to peace and love
And seek to dispel sadness;
You reach for the higher reserve
And reap happiness.

Like in a stream of love
You pour out every bit
But like a bullet when fired
You always hit.

Who feels it knows it
So I will flow with you;
Like a roaring river-shower
I will help you spew.
