Fields Of Flowers Poem by M McParland

Fields Of Flowers

A mountain stream.
I visit this place in waking dreams.
With you right there by my side.
Despair and hate slide right off to die.

A peaceful place to share our lives.
Never ending bliss no hurtful loneliness.
A field of joy and contentment true.
Oh I wish I was there with you.

Beauty surrounds with natures songs.
Admitting our love was there all along.
No need to fear or run and hide.
I'll be your husband, you my bride

Forever there in true bliss.
I want to share that long needed kiss.
No outside hurt or prying eyes.
Just us two the odds defied.

Please join me there with the sky so blue.
I'll treasure you forever for no other matches you.
The endless field I'll pick you flowers.
Everyday where time doesn't matter.

Let's go there soon,
We need it my precious jewel.
To share the beauty and the land.
Holding on forever come and take my hand.
