Feral Wasteland Poem by M.J. Lemon

Feral Wasteland

Rating: 5.0

what do you do
with someone who doesn't know
what day of the week it is
what time it is
what the line is between right and wrong?

It's all a twilight
some 'private Idaho'
a brain living and playing
grey matter solitaire
recluse or refuses clues
No waking up and realizing
there's something

an outdoors
the girl next door
a boy or someone else

Blank stare

I think it is dealing with old age or some one with Alzheimer. But last lines through a twist to create a confused person of any age. The one deprived of even simple pleasures of life.

3) cont'd: it should be noted that such a person can distinguish between right and wrong. However, due to a lifetime of abuse, both as victim and perpetrator, the line has become blurred.

I hope so, Richard. Yet the longer I stare into the abyss of reality, the more I think there is a hard line between evil and ignorance on the one hand, and stupidity on the other.

3) A condition in which the person affected has been the victim of severe verbal bullying as a child and a young . Resulting in the person overcompensating by even greater severe bullying of others!

2) I think that even Freud would have difficulty in his psychiatric assessment of The McDonald. Carl Jung, on the other hand, would diagnose it as a new disorder...Feral Liberation Disorder.

This is a tough one, M.J.! It most certainly applies to dementia! On the other hand, it can very well apply to Trump The Dump...who may or may not be suffering from dementia!

Absolutely, Richard. I was also thinking it could apply to acts of the ill, self-deception, cognitive dissonance, or just plain cluelessness.b
