this beautiful poem was extracted from a book entitled Hafiz: Drunk with God Selected Odes translated by Khalid Hameed Shaida, MD. Hafiz is a pen name for Samsuddin Mohamed, a self made scholar, a mystic and poet par excellence. who born in Shiraz, Persia (modern Iran) 1320 until he died in 1381 at the age of 61 in Shiraz.
I like this piece as it is quite playful and the ending line works really well.
