Hi Queeny, I am happy to be reading your poems. Yes! you are absolutely right. Equal opportunity should be given whether a man or a woman. Though we are in the 21st century, still there continues to be discrimination. May be lesser in the cities but surely, in the rural areas, it is much more visible. Unless the mind set changes there cannot be progress. Good poem! A full vote for you.

It is unfortunate that some negative qualities in women are given too much prominence that all positive qualities are conveniently ignored. Along with you i too feel that this is grossly unfair!

Though title is feminine, the poem touched mt heart with humanity. Good poem!
