Feelings Lost Poem by Ray Hansell

Feelings Lost

She held him close one last time
She kissed him a last goodbye
She watched him walk down Fourth Street
She wondered why she never cried

She stood there for a moment
She glanced up to the sky
She watched love walk away
She didn't even question why

Could it be because she knew
Just what as in store
Or could it just have been
She already knew the score

She felt the time was now
To each take their own road
She left town and moved on
To a brand new zip code
