This is a step back into childhood itself! How well remembered are those times when someone said or did those hurtful things, and we, standing there feeling as though we had been hit by a truck, left to wonder 'WHY? ' Not understanding the grown up bit about anger...just knowing how WE hurt! Beautifully, tenderly written!
