Don’t give me that crap that all we live for is to die. I want to live forever even when I’m suicidal. I would rather feel anything than be emotionless. STUNNING, NOUGH SAID * Love duncan X
Well said William, to feel is to live, we are full of emotions, it would be absolutely impossible not to feel anything. Excellent poem--Melvina--
We feel so much - from the heights of joy to the blackest depression - and in between, nothingness. When illness or chemical balance makes movement impossible and even feelings desert us so we are left in grey nothingness; we actually feel what non-existence is like. Yet people are bewildered when confronted with another's feelings - I wonder when mankind will finally evolve to a point of telepathic communication and sharing feelings more directly; it is one of my dreams for a better future. Kind regards, Margaret.
I agree wholeheartedly. Emotion is the genesis of all the arts. Without it, no poet could create a poem worthy of the name. Excellent write. Warm regards, Sandra
Absolutely, 'to feel is to be alive' couldn't have said it better myself. I'm in total agreement with this profound statement. I like your poem very much, Thanyou---Melvina-
Ah, absolutely agreed. Spendidly penned. I struggled with this issue and decided that feeling pain is infinitely preferable to feeling nothing. Perhaps you have read my 'Engaging Again'? t x
Hi William, great poem my friend...you have created the most important message to place inside a fine write. Really well composed and thought out piece. Fantastic work *10* best wishes Jon
