nightmute I like the mentioning of taking on certain norms when entering a loving relationship, and that is so very true. But what others, not in a loving relationship, see as a 'ball and chain', we, who are in a loving relationship, understand to be a dignified and, ultimately, a freeing set of rules...we grow deeper in love, and as we grow closer together, we two experience exponential growth. Those not in such a relationship often wonder why such peace and harmony is made so evident in the lives of life-long lovers....and though it is never always peaches and cream, as it were, still we find such joys that those who are not in such a relationship cannot comprehend. A joyous write, sir...and an excellent topic to expound on.
