For many centuries,
the corporeality
in some religions
was greatly devalued:
the body was more
of a 'packhorse'
or the 'dungeon
of the soul',
a necessary evil,
so to speak,
to 'transport the soul'.
But if we read
the creation account
more closely, it
becomes clear
that God created us
with our corporeality,
„in his image,
and he saw that
everything was good'.
(Referring to the creation
account in the book of Genesis
in the Holy Bible.)
