I always found humour the easiest poetry to write, but I wanted to write impact poetry on a few important issues, so 'Stanley's Plight' written April 85, is the last comedy poem I remember writing.

I am glad you liked the poem Paul. I would have done the right thing, and messaged Jack to ask his approval, for the lines that reference his mother's refrigerator, but he allows no messages. I thought if he disapproved I would just cut that section, but it would be a sad loss. So unable to message Jack the poem appears early.
