Fay, I hate wars because of all the grief they cause on both side and in the end as the death tolls rise no one ever wins, but all lose because of their young whom have died. Top marks for this sensitive and heart reaching poem my friend. Hugs David

A very touching piece Fay, the arrival of every bodybag just brings more hurt, anger and pain...are these young boys losing their lives in vain and will there be an end to the useless wars? The last stanza is very relevant...
The rhyming couplet format works very well to enrich this poem about the futility of war and it's far-reaching effects on all those who are touched by it. The circularity of it all astounds - as does this fine poem. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
